Arundel Middle School Ceiling and Lighting Replacement

Anne Arundel County Public Schools contracted us to replace over 80,000 square feet of acoustic ceiling tile and replace all of the original lighting with LED lights that would enhance and modernize the look of the entire school.
With Arundel Middle School’s commitment to providing a state-of-the-art learning environment, the upgrades to the ceiling and lights were a necessity. Due to the sheer size of the school, the project needed to be split into two phases so that they could realistically be completed during the summer vacation. Careful coordination was needed so that they work could be completed in the hallways and inside of the classrooms – the first phase consisted of a complete gut and renovation of the second floor and the second phase of the project consisted of the same, but on the first floor.
This project was completed within two summers, as scheduled, and the scope of work included, demolition of the existing ceiling, testing and rebalancing of the HVAC systems to ensure everything is up to par, and upgrading the lighting and low voltage electrical package to accommodate new computer labs & the upgrade security systems.
