AAC Police CID Security Glazing Upgrade

Anne Arundel County identified the need to create a more secure and safe space for the Criminal Investigations Department. The project included the installation of new storefront doors and frames, glazination, and UL level 3 ballistic rated doors, frames, and glazing. Although the contract allowed 210 calendar days for completion, only 30 days were allotted for installing the ballistic rated materials, due to the center’s unsecured status and highly confidential data. The successful completion of this project led to the award of the Third Floor renovation, now designated as the county’s Real-Time Crime Center.
