Summary

Baltimore City Public Schools made a concerted effort to renovate the restrooms in seven of their schools throughout Baltimore City. The restrooms were in poor condition due to never being renovated since the schools were built. These renovations had to be completed during the summer while the scholars were on vacation.
Baltimore City Public Schools required that all renovations were completed prior to the new school semester commencing. This required major coordination efforts & precise execution by Janus Contractors to complete these projects. All seven schools were scattered across Baltimore City with varying travel times.
A total renovation of 148 restrooms, including staff restrooms, was completed and turned over to the end user within the 10-week summer vacation duration. Staff restrooms were demolished and renovated first to accommodate the staff coming in early to prepare for the new semester. Our scope to renovate covered additional plumbing to accommodate more stalls for the scholars, new epoxy flooring, new intricate tiling design, upgraded air flow and HVAC systems, brand new partitions & toilet accessories.
