2024 Summer Health Rooms Renovations

Baltimore City Public Schools identified the need for updated and new health suites for their scholars across seven schools within Baltimore City. The seven schools had varying degrees of health suites, with some being completely unusable.
All new & renovated health suites needed to be complete and operational prior to the new school year commencing. This required major coordination efforts & precise execution by Janus Contractors to complete these projects. All seven schools were scattered across Baltimore City with varying travel times.
A total of seven health suites were renovated/constructed and turned over to the end users prior to the new school semester commencing. Due to the nature of these health suites being medical facilities, there were challenges associated with coordinating the delivery of medical equipment to meet the deadlines. Our scope to demolish/renovate the health suites included brand new layouts and partitions, brought in new fire sprinklers to ensure we met fire code, brand new lights and electrical to accommodate the new health suites, upgraded plumbing and HVAC systems, new medical furniture and custom millwork.
