Janus Contractors’ first foray into the retail commercial general contracting space. Completed the buildout for a premier franchise that boasts premium finishes and high-end equipment to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for its customers.
This 2,800 square foot project was initially a cold dark shell that was provided to the new tenants. The space had to be demised prior to any work commencement and there were challenges presented by the permitting office of the City and strict timelines given by the client to ensure that the bakery was open prior to the summer of 2024.
Janus Contractors delivered the space to the client within five months of construction commencement, allowing the bakery to open for the busy months of summer. Our scope was extensive and included multiple trades – demising wall to delineate our unit from the other unit, new underground utilities, concrete slab and stub-ups for water & electrical connections, interior partitions and high end finishes, high end kitchen equipment from priority oversees vendors, new sprinkler and fire alarm system and design, and completion of existing HVAC system to serve the final space, and commissioning of all equipment for end users.
