Baltimore City Roof and Dome Restoration
Baltimore City, MD
Baltimore City Hall is the official seat of government of the City of Baltimore – The City Hall was initially opened in 1875 and is still operational to this day. This project is of great importance and historical value due to the repairs and restoration of the dome and roof.
Due to the historical significance of this building, there are a lot of invested parties with this project, which translates to perfection required in timing, execution, and completion of this project. Also, this project is ongoing with the building being occupied, so careful consideration is given to the tenants currently working out of City Hall.
In partnership with another Gordian, Janus Contractors is undertaking this project that includes an intricate and massive scaffolding plan, metal restoration and refinish of the existing dome, patch and repair the roof. This project is slated to be completed in the summer of 2027.
